Born in Nottingham, Alexandra began her theatrical training with the late Marielaine Church, mother to theatre producer and director Johnathon Church, at Clarendon College, where she made her stage debut as Estragon in WAITING FOR GODOT. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree, with Honours, from the prestigious Brunel University London, where she read Drama, Film & Television Studies.
Upon graduation she enrolled in the two-year acting training course at The Poor School, London, studying the Stanislavsky Technique. Alexandra later decided to broaden her skills studying the Meisner Technique at The Actors Temple, London, taught by Sanford Meisner’s protégé Tom Radcliffe. As well as a Masterclass with the visiting tutor Martin Barter, who worked closely with Meisner up to his death.
She recently worked and trained in the United States, studying Shakespeare with Tracy Pellegrino at the renowned Playhouse West in Los Angeles, co-founded by Jeff Goldblum. Whilst there Alexandra won a role in a production of TWELFTH NIGHT, alongside cult actor Mark Pellegrino. Back in London, Alexandra won rave reviews with her portrayal of the iconic Lady Macbeth in an acclaimed production of MACBETH.
She was delighted to have worked with the leading Shakespearean actress and director, Lisa Wolpe in preparing for the role.
Most recently Alexandra has begun to translate her love and experience of acting into coaching others.
Outside of acting, Alexandra loves spending time with her family, experimenting with plant-based food and relaxing in the spa.
She is a keen seamstress and a fan of hot yoga!
